Oh, as if that wouldn't happen eventually between you.

[He knew what incubus did to those they fed on for a long time. The only reason why Young-chul was still living was because he was a powerful mage and knew how to protect himself from the draining effect to a point. It still didn't mean that Dusty wasn't trying to mother hen the silly earth mage whenever he let it go too long.]

He'll smack you back, but I doubt he would make you do anything. Without a maker, you will be under no one's control, and usually fair game to anyone that wished to cull the ranks. We are weak until we gain age.

[Tarr would just shake his head at Justin but instead he starts to head for the direction of the blood pull.] He'll also insist that Justin sticks around. You two are still tied to each other, though not on the level as before.

[downfalling]

I knew what was going to eventually happen.

[He gives Tarr a slightly annoyed look. Despite the dumb decision that it was and everything that led up to it, he at least was more than aware of what would happen down the road. It wasn't like he could really take it back.]

I figured. Fucking hell...

[Not exactly how he imagined things going. Though at the vampire's last statement, Jin immediately snaps to full attention, almost sputtering.]

What?!

[justsucin]

[Justin's not impressed by Tarr's assertion that they're still tied to one another either.]

That's bull! Once my prey is dead there's nothing to bind them to me. I only need them for their life-force!

[Sure you already knew this stuff, Jin, but are you getting pissed off hearing it straight from Justin's mouth? Discarding you so easily...]

[downfalling]

[He was more confused than anything, though now he's even more confused that there's a twinge of anger that coils in the pit of his stomach when Justin pipes up. His hands clench into fists, and he spins around to face the incubus, eyes narrowed.]

You can't even fucking talk! If you're so flippant about it and don't care as much as you want to say you don't, then why the hell are you even here?! Why do you want revenge against a vamp so badly even though you know full well it's not going to change what I've become? I don't like this turn of events either, sweetheart, but it's not like we can take it back now!

[justsucin]

[Excuse you, Jin! Think you know it all.]

It's nothing to do with changing what you are now! You were my human! My meal! This is why I dislike vampires in the first place, always stealing my meals! I want revenge for myself. Don't get the wrong idea just because I came to find you!

I would've wanted to find out what happened to any human I was fucking.

[downfalling]

[Considering that he's surprisingly been in semi-healthy relationships before, yes. Yes he does at least know more things than Justin in some aspects.

I know, I'm shocked too.

Jin has to actually let out a harsh laugh at that one.]

Like hell I'll believe that - you can pick anyone you wanted, checking up on your humans means you have an attachment to them. And I don't mean just to their life-force.

[He knows that he's probably - no, probably nothing, he is - treading dangerous territory here, and that if this turned physical, he probably wouldn't stand much of a chance, especially since he's cut off from his spiritual powers now that he's undead, but at the same time, this felt like it was a long time coming.

He doesn't even realize that his fangs are running out again as he's arguing.]

I was your human. And yet you're still sticking around, even beyond "wanting revenge for yourself". It's -

[He cuts himself off with a growl. What did all this really mean?]

Enough. If you want to yell at each other, do it later.

[Tarr has a soft voice, unusually high and sweet for someone with his build and almost threatening resting face. But now there was a growl to it, his secondary teeth showing that was beyond the usual vampire fangs. He was old, old enough that he could probably take on a demon and, if not win at least survive. He jabbed a hand at Justin.]

Just by arguing you are showing there is something there. You don't have to do anything but having you along will help. [He turned on Jin, eyes black.] You need to calm down. The maker bond goes both ways and if he was checking, he'll read what you're feeling too easily.

Also, all I meant was that I tasted you in Jin's blood. Though... yes, vampires are dead. We don't need to breathe, have heartbeats, shit or piss. But we can still cry and we certainly have sex. There's a life there, but one of magic and of our wills. Stronger our wills for life, the stronger we are, but it's nothing that can be drained from us.

As for you wishing revenge, you do know you can call up the marked laws in front of and elder and ask for blood, yes?

[justsucin]

[You know what? Justin's going to snarl and shut up, but only because it's preferable to trying to argue this shit out any further with Jin. Yes he can pick any human he wants to drain life-force from, but they either have to die immediately, or they plead with him for more sex until they get it so much they die! And being pestered is a bother. Jin already being a hunter and already knowing things like him were out there had worked out great; Young-chul had been able to regenerate Jin's life-force the same way he did his own, and give Justin permanent, reliable meals.

Jin just wants it to mean something because he is - was - human and he was getting caught up in dumb human emotions.]

Fine, I'm not arguing then. Are you trying to say that it's fine because he'll still have a sex drive? [Justin mutters his last sentence.] What's the point if I don't get life-force out of it.

[downfalling]

[It was about this point that Jin felt the urge to want to strangle Justin before Tarr cut them both off and reminded the former hunter about the maker bond. That got him to shut up immediately, though it's obvious he's trying his best to not show any more emotion, even if it is a bit late for that one.]

So what now.

[Though he can't deny the pang of ... something twisting in his gut. It's just something he'd have to sort out later, as much as he wouldn't want to.]

I'm saying that it might something interesting for someone long lived like you, but forget it. You just don't want to try something new.

[His tone was basically 'this isn't going to be an argument' because he knew how demons could be. They weren't ones that actually would change even if they were able to blend in the easiest among humans. Tarr turned away and walked to the end of the street, taking breathe she through his mouth to catch the scent he needed.]

We hunt, unless the demon would rather not go anywhere with bloodsuckers.

[justsucin]

You think you're so clever. You can't taunt me like that. I have nothing to prove to you.

[Justin gives Tarr a flat look at the suggestion he won't want to go anywhere with bloodsuckers. He's right, but this is an exceptional circumstance.]

This one may have been a hunter but he won't be used to handling his new abilities yet. It'll be one-and-a-half against who knows how many if I don't come along.

...Not that it's gonna take you long to get to grips with your pointy new teeth, right? You've always been a biter.

[downfalling]

[Not terribly different from a normal job, outside the fact that he now had vampire weaknesses and no access to his previous abilities or time to go back to his apartment - if it hadn't been cleaned out already.]

Right. So now it's just a matter of finding the bastard.

[Jin's eyes narrow slightly at the jab, and feeling his fangs still out, he bares them at Justin for a moment in a wicked grin.]

Come over here and find out.

No, I don't. I just lived long enough to know how most demons are.

[He looked over at Jin and his baby vampire teeth and almost cracks a smile. Though it does slightly worries him that Jin likes biting and Dusty likes it when he gets bit, but he trusts his human enough to know he wasn't going to attempt sleeping with a newborn. Maybe in a few years, but no, he didn't need to think of that scenario.]

Stop arguing until you're in a safe spot, children.

[He doesn't wait for a response, instead he starts flitting from shadow to shadow, moving slow enough so Jin could keep up, though after a street or two he takes to the rooftops. Once they were away from the poorer sections they needed to be careful of who sees them after all.]

[justsucin]

[Justin doesn't say anything in response to Jin's taunt, just makes a licking motion with his tongue, a tongue that seems too long to be part of his human guise. He prefers flirtations, even dangerous ones. He understands them. And then Tarr is off before they can continue their little lovers' spat. Justin shrugs, slipping into the shadows himself. He may not be a worker of magic, but he's a being of darkness. He can move faster than human eyes can detect. He considers shifting into his female form, both to unsettle Jin and Tarr, and to allow the vampire they seek to underestimate him by appearance. They're all so dumb; even when they can sense a demon they will see a slinky dress and a pair of heels and assume weakness. Once the vampires are travelling across the rooftops Justin tranforms into Justine.]

[downfalling]

[Jin lets out a huff (he really needs to remember he doesn't actually need to breathe in this state) before he follows Tarr, surprising himself with how quickly he's moving now through the darkness, and he has to bite back a whoop as they're moving until they hit the rooftops.

This was familiar territory - while he hadn't moved as fast as this, he had been used to running across rooftops to try and get the jump on some of his targets before as a hunter. It was definitely still odd to have to think of it as something like this - divorcing his old activities as a hunter to what he was now as a vampire.

It's not until they're joined by Justine that he stops moving, once again nearly sputtering.]

Form has no meaning save its advantages.

[A hint of his own ability to shift and change shape depending on what he needed. Tarr doesn't even look at Justine even if he could smell the differences of pheromones from male to female. He never felt the need to take on a woman's form but one of the brood kings he met during the last biggest human war shifted easily from twelve year old girl to ancient crusader male warrior in battle. That one too gave him the first push to shift his form to the worrying mass of limbs and tentacles that he took on at times.]

Grow strong enough and you can learn how to shift as well. [There was an open space in their next lag of the hunt, and he hit the ground, and continue to run, slowing as he felt the first brush of a territorial marking in their path. Tarr took a deep breath and tasted the scent of their prey and a few other brood leaders in the air. Looks like he had company..]

I am going to play politics here. Which means attack when I say instead of when you feel like it you two. It will make things much easier and won't have us ending up with a bunch of bloodless fledglings running around the city hunting people.

[justsucin]

Rude. Form means everything. [Justine knows what donning this appearance does to Jin, after all.] I'm only trying to use my best assets to our advantage. They'll know what I am, but I can still be distracting. [A lick of the lips and a wink in Jin's direction. Who exactly is Justine kidding herself she's going to be distracting? No, really she knows better than to do that in the heat of the moment, in the middle of a fight. Best to tease right now and get it out of her system for a while.] Maybe you can learn to shift female too. Ever been curious about girl-on-girl, baby?

[downfalling]

[It takes him a few moments to snap himself out of it, and he just ends up nodding weakly at Tarr's words once they're close. He knows that even though he would love to do that, rushing in whenever would just end up being a suicide mission, never mind condemning more people with an influx of masterless vamps running amok.

Once he does move, though, he hangs back, letting out an annoyed grumble.]

Tempting, but I thought that you weren't interested in fucking anymore now that I'm a member of the fang-bearing club? [He can't help but smile a little at that.]

Not really. Certainly there are advantages, but the form itself is just another set of clothing to wear or discard when the time comes.

[Sorry little demon, he isn't going to be tempted into changing the subject and showing off at this point of the night. They were inside a vampire's territory intent on killing said vampire. They didn't need to have a huge showing off contest of forms.]

I'll show you my female form after if you're that interested, even if it's not your thing to fuck a vampire.

[He gave Jin a nod at that little verbal dig and then slowed down his pace. He could smell the guards moving in and they need to be a little civil now.]

Maybe you should stick around, Justine. After all, I learned how to shift thanks to a master at it. You can teach Jin how to do it far easier then I.

If it doesn't matter at all then why are you both spending so much time- [Justine places her hands either side of her breasts and begins to slide her hands down her slender waist until she reaches her own hips.] -on this? When we should be focusing on that. [She nods her head in the direction from which company are about to join them. She may not have a heightened sense of smell, but she has senses that can detect any being nearby, living or the living dead. She can't resist one little throw away comment though, tossing her hair over her shoulder.] Funny that you're both so eager to change my mind about vampires now. So that if it were my thing you could fuck me...? [Just gonna ignore the comment about helping Jin out for now, but it's been silently taken under advisement.]

[downfalling]

You're the one who thought it was a good idea to shift form in the first place.

[Jin has to fight not to roll his eyes since they are so close and with incoming company, though the fact that he was extremely intent on watching Justine earlier was probably incredibly obvious.]

I'm just saying that... [Now probably isn't the best time to admit this, and if he were still human, he might actually be blushing a bit, which is a rarity for Jin, considering how shameless he usually is.] I'd still be interested.

I'm certain that you don't mind the attention in any case.

[He stepped in front of the other two and bared his teeth at the guards. There was a moment's paused as they glanced at each other and then bowed, stepping out of his way. He continued to lead the way, lesser vampires moving to stop him, hesitating and then backing off quickly. Others watched from a distance, soft hisses of conversations following them until they reached a set of doors. Tarr opened them and stepped into a room that could be placed in any business - long table, high back chairs, sleek computers and then -]

Oppa! [Tiny, blonde and dressed in the latest fashion, a female vampire hopped from her seat and grabbed his arm tightly.] You never call!

Yeo-soo...

[justsucin]

[Nothing wrong with enjoying attention. Justine gives Jin a long, considering look after the admission that he would indeed still be up for resuming their sexual relationship even changed as he is. Now it really is up to her to decide what's in it for her if not a meal. The fact that she keeps looking at him thoughtfully and not retorting with a smart remark or disgust must speak volumes, even though she hasn't said a word. What is it Jin wants from her, exactly? Not really any time to dwell on that in the end. Justine's eyes widen in disbelief as Tarr is smothered by a small, female vampire. She finds herself cracking a smile. This is amazing, she must drive Tarr crazy.]

[downfalling]

[He's pretty silent after that, surprising even him as they continue forward. It doesn't help that there's a creeping feeling of dread the further they go in.

It actually ends up peaking when the small female vamp - Yeo-soo - starts cuddling up to Tarr, and he nearly freezes. He doubted that she would forget him when he had stuck her with two of his knives on a previous hunt, one he had barely survived if it weren't for Dusty.

Instead he busies himself with trying to figure out which one of these guys was his maker.]

[She continues to cuddle up to him, chatting quickly about many things while Tarr just closes his eyes and huffs softly. Like what was he suppose to do really? He knew she would always cling because she had hoped for a little more then just a brotherly care on his end. Even though that would never come to pass, she just was still the kind to be sweet and clingy.]

Yeo-soo, please, business first.

[She huffed and finally pulls away, and then spotted Jin. Her first reaction wasn't very aggressive. There was a frown, followed by a pout and then she bounced over to him and pokes at his shoulder.]

Oppa, why is the hunter here? You didn't change him, did you?

He's the reason I'm here, and no, I didn't change him.

He's cute, can I keep him?

[If he wasn't here to be the big bad elder, Tarr would have certainly headdesk at this level of silly. As it was, he just closed his eyes and tried to ignore the slight reddening of his cheeks. Why him? Oh yes, he had a soft spot for his little baby sister.]

I think that's up to him. Don't try to force him either. [She stuck her tongue out at Tarr's back and attempts to snuggle up against Jin.]

I don't think you came here to socialize, Elder.

Forgive me, señor, I was following a blood trace to here, and I have reason to believe that several laws have been broken. Also, do you not control the territory to the west near Shawa Park?

[The small neat vampire with the nicely groomed mustache nodded. Tarr jerked his head back at Jin.] I found him in a house at the center of your residential area being held by a pack. You may want to send runners out to see what else is there.

[He then focused his attention at the guy sitting at the head of the table, baring his teeth.] Good evening, Do-hun. Give me a single good reason why I shouldn't tear your head off for breaking the laws.
