1. Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
2. Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
3. Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
4. Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.
5. Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
6. Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
7. Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
8. Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
9. Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
10. Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.

ANGST.
1. Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
2. Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to you.
3. Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
4. Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help them through it.
5. Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
6. Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
7. Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
8. Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
9. Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
10. Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
11. Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
12. Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
13. Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
14. Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
15. Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

1. Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!

14. Locked in a closet → For some reason, you're locked up in a closet with someone else. Do you make nice and try to figure your way out or what?

1. Movies → movie night! Maybe it's a sleepover. Whichever the case, it's time to eat a lot and have fun.
2. Drinks → You're out for drinks! Or just chilling at home with some beers. Wherever!
3. Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
4. Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
5. Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
6. Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?
7. Rivals → you're suddenly rivals! Or maybe you have been all along...
8. Problems → you've got a problem with each other, just got in a huge fight, whatever. Try to work it out!
9. What are your intentions... → This person? They're dating a close friend, family member, etc. You need to find out if they're going to hurt them! Or you need to discuss your friend/family's dating choice.
10. I saw you → you saw the other person doing something bad and you need to confront them about it.
11. Sorry but no → the other person has feelings that you just don't share. They don't necessarily have to be romantic... maybe you just don't agree with their sudden desire to quit their job and start a business making tiny, fuzzy teddy bears.
12. Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.
13. Cooking → Time for an impromptu cooking lesson!
14. Boss → One of you works under the other. Is your relationship good? Are you scheming things? Or do you hate each other?
15. Perfect crime → You and the other person have just pulled off the perfect crime... or you're planning to! What are you doing? The heist of the century, an assassination?

[Well, humans are tougher than any of the crew had first assumed; they were the original sentai after all. It does make sense that they could handle parenthood if they wanted to. Joe nods his acceptance of the information.

A wry smile comes onto his face as he sees AkaRed stop himself before he can say 'the father'. It's a surprise even to the man who seems to know everything?]

Thanks. [Joe is a man of few words, but after a pause he feels he should explain.] I really thought you knew about Ahim and I. Ahim asked Marvelous to inform you... She's thoughtful like that.

[Not he isn't going to smile softly thinking about Ahim's good qualities, shut up.]

[ Welp. That's not really the sort of thing Micchi wants to hear, though of course it makes sense when it's Philip. What would help him focus on a person is learning all about them.

Micchi doesn't really want to make himself that vulnerable to Philip, but he can hide some stuff and still let there be enough around to let him analyse. Philip isn't the only one whose brains quickly jump into gear. Micchi tries to think what items in his room he might want to stash far away from Philip's prying. The logic helps his voice remain calm when he speaks.]

I guess you'd better come over to my house, then.

[It's not such a big deal when it's Philip; niisan won't disapprove because Philip is from the same private school. Philip already knows Micchi's family must have wealth in order to be at the school. And Philip has already been around wealth himself so that won't concern him either. Not like if Micchi were to reveal his entire other life to Team Gaim.]

[He nodded in response to the suggestion. Well, that would make sense. There would be privacy and his house would be where he would learn the most about him. But something was a little strange with that suggestion.]

Attending the other person's home is usually the end of the date night, isn't it? Where one party will invite the other party in for a coffee. Which is then prelude to other physical activity.

[At least that part of it was clearly outlined in some other less conventional research that he had done. Coffee didn't always mean coffee. Which was good because that substance generally made him a little jittery although his reading speed increased.

Then he looked at the situation around them.]

Does this count as an exclusive social activity?

[Micchi shrugs; Philip doesn't need to assume so much from one little invite.]

You can have dates at a person's house; you can watch a movie in the comfort of your own home, or play video games, or invite someone over for dinner rather than go out to a restaurant. Money is an issue for other people, remember. A night in is cheaper than a night out, and more intimate too.

[And Micchi doesn't even mean that in a sexual intimacy way - just that it's much easier to focus on the other person when you're not in public and having your encounter potentially witnessed!

Good that Philip has already come across the double entendre that coffee is. That might come in handy. Micchi glances around when Philip does and looks at him meaningfully.]

Yeah, I guess it does. A "library date". Some people meet up under the pretext of studying together in order to spend time together.

[Okay, so he was making headway here. Philip was finally beginning to understand what this dating thing was about. Maybe. There was so much he didn't understand still and so much ambiguous information out there. It is definitely going to be interesting learning all of this information first hand.

Quite quickly, he gathered up all his books and stacked them into the returns trolley, then packed away his laptop. In just a quick few moments he was ready to get started on the next chapter of his research. Probably the fastest he's moved all day.]

Oh! Why did you come to the library today anyway?

[King of social cues finally realized that he never did ask his friend why he had come all the way to the library and something was beginning to hint at him that maybe he had forgotten something that day.]

[He nearly flinches at the movement, but controls himself. Mitsuzane needs him right now, needs him to be strong, needs him to be here for him, even through the storm of everything they've done. He hesitates a moment, and then tugs his brother towards him to try to draw him into a hug.]

[He's never been very physically affectionate, but if there's any time that Mitsuzane needs it, it's now.]

I do. I was the one who pushed you into those things. ... I only wanted what I thought was best for you... but I pushed too hard, didn't i? I pushed you away.

[He's not the most perceptive, but... well. He's spent a lot of time thinking about this.]

[ Ah, it's only taken a couple of hours for Philip to think to wonder why Micchi had even sought him out at the library. That isn't actually his worst time ever, sadly. Micchi gives Philip a long, flat look. ]

We were supposed to meet. After school. I waited for you. Then I came here.

[ Because where else would you be, his tone is totally saying. But if Micchi gets too put out by that they'll never get anywhere with this dating thing. ]

You'll have to make it up to me. On our date.

[ What is niisan doing? Micchi feels himself being... drawn under niisan's arm, sheltered by it.

It brings back familiar memories of being very small and curling up close to cling to niisan. Not always becausehe was crying; sometimes because he was sleepy, or because he was just an affectionate child. It had been so easy back then. It's obvious why that isn't the case any longer.

He mustn't lie to niisan now, not even if the truth is going to hurt.]

You expected too much, niisan. [Micchi buries his face a little to muffle his words. Maybe if they don't come out so loud and clear they won't hurt so much.] You didn't ask what I wanted. And then I didn't try to correct you. I just went and rebelled.

[Rebelled is only the beginning of what he did, but that part he can talk about. Sort of. That's enough words about it for this moment.]

[He tilts his head down so he can press his cheek against the top of his brother's head like he used to. His fingers curl into Mitsuzane's shirt, holding him protectively. He doesn't want his brother to hurt. Takatora doesn't want to be hurt either.]

... I know. I should have. I assumed. I assumed too much, that what I had planned for you was something you wanted or at least wouldn't mind. I was wrong. And that is why I apologized.

[ Niisan is warm. He's been at such a distance all these years somehow Micchi assumed his embrace would feel cold, but he's so gentle it's like he thinks Micchi would be hurt if he squeezed too hard.

Or he's trying not to make the same mistake physically as he did mentally: he held too tight. ]

I didn't tell you otherwise; I didn't help the situation. I let you think everything was alright. At first because I didn't want to let you down. [Micchi slips an arm around Takatora's waist. Niisan even being able to stand touching him is a miracle after everything that has happened.] But then I got angry. I felt like you surely knew how miserable I was and were just ignoring it. Which was stupid; I was stupid to let myself think it. But it took the blame off of me, so I convinced myself that was how things were.

[Micchi's problem has always been not taking the blame for his own actions, his mistakes.]

I'm sorry for that, niisan. And... everything. I'm more than sorry for everything else.

[He hesitates as his brother puts an arm around him. It's slow, but it's progress. It's something. They're both trying to feel each other out, aren't they? ... At least... they have this much.]

Mitsuzane...

[He presses a gentle kiss to the top of his brother's head, trying to keep his emotions in check. He has to, if only for his brother's sake.]

If I had realized... with how things were going, I'm not sure... what I could have changed. But I could have tried. I was blind. I was blind to how much you were hurting, and I never want you to have to feel that hurt again. I know that feeling hurt is inevitable... but I promise that I will at least do my best to help you through it from now on. I swear, Mitsuzane.

... I will be with you... for as long as you wish for me to be.

[There was a pause, like Philip was actually giving proper thought into the fact they were supposed to meet. Like there was some importance placed on that which he may have forgotten. Thought, none of that really shows when he finally answers.]

With flowers or chocolate?

[Since...that's apparently how you apologise to somebody according to those dating guides.]

[ Philip's question is so earnest. He can be trained yet. Micchi turns to walk away, glancing back over his shoulder and smirking. ]

Both. It's not like you can't afford it.

[ Micchi can afford it too, but the point is that it's totally different buying flowers and chocolate for yourself compared to receiving them from someone else! ]

[As awkward as it kind of is, this closeness actually feels good? Micchi files that thought away into his subconscious.]

I will... [Micchi looks at a random spot on his pants for a good long while before finishing his sentence. At least niisan is patient and willing to let him finish.] Let you?

[Micchi's a great liar, no trouble at all, but this is hard because it has to be true. He has to say it and mean it! No more lying to niisan, not anymore. Not for the 'greater good' or whatever he thinks. Micchi can't trust his own judgement anymore, after all!]

It's just so hard, niisan. Letting someone in. Letting them see your vulnerablities. I never wanted anyone to try and take advantage of me.

[Look how well that worked, Micchi thinking he was so clever that even Sengoku Ryoma couldn't play him. He laughs bitterly at himself.]

... I know. I tried to do that, but... well.

[He'd played both of them. So many people had played him, and he'd been so blind. Even Mitsuzane had done it.]

I can't say I have much... experience in that, either. I used to be better at it, but then... I shut down. I suppose maybe it was too late by then.

[The closeness is a little awkward, but... Mitsuzane seems to be all right with it, so he'll keep going for now.]

I... need you to try to be honest with me from now on, and I'll do the same. No more secrets. No more hiding, Mitsuzane. Not from each other. I think... we will need to help keep each other from... doing something regretful.

... It's not as if this is easy for me, either.

[The next few hours were spent researching. Which chocolates? Which flowers? Is he getting them as an apology for something he did or was he getting them expressly for the date?

There was so much information that he found on this subject and so many differing opinions. Then when Philip finally decided to text his sister for help with the decision the answer he got back was along the lines of My little brother is growing up! Do you have a girlfriend?!. That didn't help so he disregarded his phone.

It was then that he came across a very unique kind of request. A singing telegram. That was it. Something different. Since Micchi was friends with someone like Philip, he liked different right? Well, that was the logic that played through and that was his own small attempt at this date thing that was happening that evening.

Without any hesitation, he puts in an order for a singing telegram. Complete with hand crafted belgium chocolates and a dozen long stemmed red roses. That's what you're supposed to do right? He nods to himself then goes home to change out of his school uniform.

He'll show up at Micchi's house just as the telegram girl finishes her song and takes her leave.]

[ Micchi opens the door to the house himself because he's expecting Philip. Lucky that he did, because if his niisan or one of the staff had opened it to someone carrying red roses, chocolates and a musical instrument and asking for him by name he never would've lived it down.

At least Philip had gotten something right. Micchi takes the bouquet and the chocolates readily enough, looking at the handcrafted label on the chocolates that assures him they came from the best place in town. Perfect, just ideal. A+ for Philip in that respect, even if the roses were a little over the top. It's to be expected Philip would go for something representing the pinnacle of romance.

Singing telegrams, however, are not romantic. At all. They're cheesy and embarrassing. Not to mention the chosen song goes on like they're in some kind of relationship, not just two horny teenage friends where one has to teach the other about sex and dating! Honestly, it couldn't be less cute.

Micchi has a fabulous poker face though, so he keeps his eyes bright and his smile appreciative; it isn't the poor misguided performer's fault that Philip is an idiot. Micchi says thank you to her as she leaves, watching her retreating form go out of the gates before giving Philip a less-than-playful punch in the shoulder. ]

What was that?! [Okay he knows what it was, but-] That seemed like a good idea to you? Urgh, get inside before I change my mind.

[Not quite everything. Even with the address book that he has, he doesn't like to pry on a fellow Sentai's romance life unless it's necessary.]

Well...I think he tried to mention something along those line to be. But at the time, we were...busy.

[His stance shifts a little, looking away and trying not to give off any further signs of embarrassment. Not that he's ashamed of his own relationship with Marvelous, no. The older man has always been more reserve, though, in regards to the more intimate details of himself.]

[Wait, Micchi hadn't had one of those before? Just before Micchi had started his next sentence, Philip started a short ramble.]

That was a singing telegram. Western Union began offering singing telgrams back in 1933 as a --

[Before he was abruptly cut off by someone who seemed quite displeased by the thoughtfulness of this gift. Philip wasn't sure why. The message boards all showed that it was a humorous event and in fact the people in the videos were all hiding their faces in their hands like they were overwhelmed with great emotion.

Not to be left outside though, Philip entered the mansion and removed his shoes in the entryway. He tipped his head towards Micchi as he changed into the indoor slippers.]

You didn't enjoy my gifts?

[This is getting to be too much to talk about, Micchi doesn't like it. Admitting to himself that he knows niisan never lets anyone get close to him these days either, not after the way he was betrayed... He has far more reason not to trust than Micchi does. Micchi was the betrayer, not the betrayed.

How can niisan bear to be near him, let alone hold him like this?

It's not as if this is easy for me, either. Micchi bristles at those words. As if he could forget!]

It can't be easy for niisan. [Micchi fixes his eyes straight ahead on the TV, staring but not seeing anything on the screen.] He has to spend every day with the person he trusted, the person who nearly got him killed, more than once. And not just be near him, but help him, and care for him, and apologise to him. How can you stand it? [Micchi blinks hard to hold back tears.] How can you stand me?

[It's a good question, and the answer is something he can't quite put into words. It's a little difficult to try, but he has to, for Mitsuzane's sake.]

Because you are my brother.

[His grip tightens briefly, holding him close, before he reaches up to brush the back of his brother's hair. He remembers doing this as a child.. hopefully it will help.]

Because as much as you have the capability to do terrible things, I believe that the path that leads to them is not the only path you can take. Because I believe... that you can do better. That you are better.

[Isn't that what Kazuraba Kouta had tried to tell him - that there was always hope? That even in the face of unspeakable tragedy, people could act better than they had before? That there was a better path than the one of death and tragedy?]

Because you are my brother, and I will always care about you.

[Because they're brothers? Micchi doesn't understand that at first; he opens his mouth to protest as much, and then he stops.

Isn't that part of what hurt him so much in the first place? He'd told himself it was the way everyone became completely enamoured with niisan after meeting him, because his pure heart and desire to help the entire world shine out of him. Micchi couldn't compare to that, and so he'd gotten jealous and bitter. But Micchi is well aware that nobody can resist how good niisan is. He'd actually been upset that everyone had wanted a piece of Takatora. Of his niisan. He's nobody else's brother, only Micchi's!

So perhaps he does understand how it feels to make that claim of kinship. A little. It means nobody else understands how it felt to have grown up as a Kureshima. Nobody else pushed you on swings, helped you up when you fell, dried your eyes with the pocket square they'd had even when they were a pre-teen.

Micchi blinks, feeling hair tickling his nose and realises that while he's been processing all this at some point he'd flung his arms around niisan's neck, burying his face against niisan's shoulder. He can't agree right now that he believes he's capable of better, but he can cling tight and will it to be true.]

[He's a little surprised at the sudden clinging, but he's not going to push him away. Never again. If this is what Mitsuzane needs, it's fine. He lets out a slow breath, moving his hand down to rub his brother's back in small circles. Mitsuzane... needs him. And... he needs Mitsuzane. Hadn't he done so much to try to save his brother? To help him? To keep him safe? And then at the end, when it was clear Mitsuzane's path was the wrong one... he'd only wanted to save his brother from making even worse decisions.]

[Perhaps he'd only wanted to save the memory of the brother who may have never been a reality.]

I am here, Mitsuzane. For as long as you can stand me. For as long as you need me. For as long as you want me.

[Joe isn't embarrassed either; more than anything he just rolls his eyes because he knows exactly what they were busy with, because it's Marvelous they're talking about. Joe understands, never mind. He glances down fondly at his daughter again as she makes tiny noises as she squirms gently in his arms. She's stirring awake properly now.]

Hello. [Joe leans close and keeps his voice to a whisper.] Good morning. [He can't resist brushing his lips against her forehead. After a moment he recalls that they aren't alone in the room. AkaRed isn't the type to take offence, luckily.] Would you... Like to hold her?

[Joe isn't reluctant to let AkaRed, he only sounds that way because he's an awkward soul. He has discovered everyone likes holding babies though, even those on the crew he never would have suspected.]
